This is the way to tap into a wire without worrying about the wire pulling free. A hold over from my X-ray service training where each wire had to have 4 wire loops around the spliced wire, then crimped with a butt connector, then taped to make sure the connection is completely covered. These are the connections for the Brake, Red lights & Amber lights.
